报告题目:Seismic Response Control for High-rise building using Passive Vibration Dampers
内容简介:When a high-rise building is affected by a long period of seismic motion that has a long natural period, the building may vibrate greatly and its duration may become very long due to a resonance phenomenon. This causes anxiety for people inside the building even if there is no damage to the building vibration control is an effective way to reduce such seismic shaking and reassure people. In this talk, I will explain some advanced studies using passive vibration control dampers.
报告人简介:Daiki Sato is an associate professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He received his Doctor of engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2006 with research on the passive controlled tall building with viscoelastic damper against wind force. He received his Master of engineering at Tohoku Institute of Technology in 2002 with research on the passive controlled building having a new type of viscoelastic damper system against earthquakes.
