报告题目:Sustainable Engineering Education at School of Engineering,

                    Tokyo University of Technology

内容简介:Sustainable engineering is an engineering field that simultaneously takes into consideration of harmonization with the environment, revitalization of the economy, and improvement of the quality of life so as to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. At the School of Engineering, Tokyo University of Technology, the three departments (Mechanical Engineering, Electric and Electronic Engineering, Applied Chemistry) carry out a common program related to the sustainable engineering. Students learn the basic knowledge of the sustainable engineering at the first step. They master the method of life cycle analysis at the second step. And at the third step, students at each department get together to build teams to perform comprehensive assessment of commercially available products from the viewpoints of environment, economy, and daily life. In this talk, I will explain the ideas and the state of the education of sustainable engineering at our school.
